The Superbowl in the Land of Sand

I enjoy watching the super-bowl.  I enjoy perusing "Pinterest" for cute, football shaped edibles and then never making them.  It's even fun to explain to the locals that the Super-Bowl is the World Cup of "Futbol Americano."   However, since sand has entered the equation- and none of the teams I REALLY care about are in this Super-Bowl 50....I'm hanging in there to hear the National Anthem preformed by Lady Gaga and to watch Bruno MarsCold-Play and Beyonce preform.  Is that so wrong?

And since I don't know how to 'live-tweet' I decided to live "Facebook" the event.  Sorry if that was annoying, but I found myself enjoying the game more, watching for note-worthy events.  When Panthers celebrated with a new dance or the commercials started, I perked right up and began paying serious attention to the screen.  Go TEAM!  MOVE THE BALL TO THAT OTHER SIDE!!!

Anyway- Football is not big in the D.R, but I'm thankful I can watch the game in English.

Go TEAM- Whoever yours may be.

And BTW, when I google image searched a "child playing football" this is what they gave me...but the colors are right?
